Maple Syrup Making Demonstration at Donald County Park, Sunday, March 10th, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Join the Friends of Donald Park at the Hitchcock Farmstead at the end of Sutter Drive to learn about tapping and gathering sap from the sugar maple trees. There will be presentation on the park's history as well as a cook down of the sap and maple syrup for tasting. Visitors will have the opportunity to hike out to the sugar maple grove, so dress appropriately. Please park on the right side of Sutter Drive entering the farmstead or park in the lot midway on Sutter Drive and walk the short distance to the farmstead.
