Silent Street Pond Dredging Update

The City of Verona Storm Water Utility has worked toward dredging the Silent Street Pond for several years. Cleaning and maintaining storm water detention ponds improves their operation and manages vegetation. Marty Cieslik, construction manager for the city of Verona’s Public Works Department, will provide an update on the dredging project’s progress at the Verona Public Library on Thursday, September 20, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Cieslik will discuss permit applications, survey results, cost proposals, and the timeline for the project.
